Q. Does Dory Jo get to go?
A. Unfortunately, no:( The national parks are just not friendly to dogs. She would have to stay in the camper or car all day when we are hiking as most trails don't allow dogs. Our friend, Ethan Baer, who is a ranger at Rocky Mountain, says that it just isn't a good idea. So, Dory Jo is going to be staying at home with Ozzie, the kitty, and our good friend Amy Beth. Once we resigned ourselves to this outcome, we have enjoyed planning without her in mind.
Q. Are you closing the store while you are gone?
A. Yes and No. We are going to be closed the week of July 4th, 2011 because it is traditionally a very slow week for us. However, the rest of the time, we will be open as usual. We have hired a couple of part- time doctors to help out in midtown and expand the schedule in Collierville. Plus, Dr. Adler will be making a few extra appearances in Midtown. Our Collierville schedule is actually expanding a little while we are gone as a test run. We have an extraordinary staff in place in both locations which is the only way we are able to actually make this work. We are trusting them to help us make this special summer happen for our family.
Q. So, Robbie, does this mean you won't be playing tennis this summer?
Well, as difficult as it is to say...Yes, I will, officially be off tennis for about 7 weeks.
Q. What about paying bills, mail, etc. while you are away?
We are taking the computer and a printer with us. Most of our personal bills are paid online so this can be done from anywhere we can get the internet.
